This is almost certainly a unique chance for you to buy possibly the best and most original "Pagoda" in existence.

This stunning car was supplied on the 9th April 1970 to Jersey, Channel Islands, it was registered to first owner Mrs Mathewson who kept the car for 38 years.

Mrs Mathewson used the car on dry days and high days keeping it maintained by Mercedes Dealer Jacksons Garage in St Saviour, Channel Islands. This is evidenced in the original service book and hand books in its original buff plastic wallet.

In April 2008 with 12800 miles covered Mr David Bralsford bought the car and became the second owner again using her sparingly.

In 2011 Mr Scott, the owner of Mercedes Benz Jersey, acquired the car for his car collection but sadly passed in 2014 when it found its way to the mainland UK and was used sparingly by Mr Craig Probert, the fourth Owner.

Mr Probert decided to streamline his collection and sold it to Mr Waitt in early 2017 who has keep the vehicle in an air conditioned garage.

We are now delighted to offer the car for sale.

This is so original and rust free and by far the best original 280SL currently for sale on the open market, The delivery specification was Wing Mirror and radio delete, hence no unsightly holes in the bodywork.

Presented in the best and only colour for a “Pagoda” Silver metallic with a black interior with no wear, its in the same condition as the day it left the Factory. Sporting 5 new Michelin MXV’s a perfect hard and soft tops, an unused tool kit and car cover, completes the car.

The engine compartment is as it was when it left the factory. As a result of the incredibly low mileage sensitive recommissioning has been done where all suspension bushes have been replaced.

This car comes with Original service books, Data Card and a letter from Jacksons Mercedes, St Peter, Jersey verifying the mileage and history while on the island.

Since arrival in the UK in 2014 there is a complete MOT history on file, total mileage to date 13,351.
