1947 Bentley Speed Six

A simply superb recreation of the Bentley Speed Six manufactured by Racing Green Engineering. The car was built to its final specification by the one and only owner and joined a collection of several other vehicles. Having seen little use since built, remains in stunning condition. These recreations take over 12 months to manufacture and are based on the Bentley MKVI. They drive fantastically and evoke the original Speed Six with immense presence and style. The donor car was first registered on the 1st November 1947 as chassis number B247BG and supplied to Mr E.M Morris and registered GNX 432.

This particular example has covered approximately 2,000 miles and presents as new. It is complete with hood, tonneau cover and aero screens. Built by Racing Green, utilising the fully rebuilt original chassis and many suspension parts, everything is fully refurbished to as new standard. The engine is a Bentley manufactured eight cylinder 5.8 litre B80 with quadruple 1 & 3/4" SU Carburettors. The Bentley is also fitted with an overdrive allowing relaxed high speed cruising, long range 35 gallon fuel tank, quick release fuel cap, rear stone guards and green Wilton carpets. As the supply of MKVI Bentleys as donor cars dries up, it is getting harder and more expensive to build one of these fabulous motor cars. SOLD
